Abstract

This study analyzed drug management at RSUD Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kota Kupang using the ABC-VEN combination method, drug management indicator standards, and problem prioritization with the Bryant method. Using a non-experimental descriptive design with retrospective and concurrent data collection, researchers reviewed drug management documents and conducted interviews. Drug usage data from 2023 were classified using the ABC-VEN method, revealing that among 825 drug items, 162 (20%) were priority drugs, 635 (77%) were main drugs, and 28 (3%) were supplementary drugs. Evaluation against drug management indicator standards identified seven indicators that did not meet the required benchmarks. These issues were then prioritized using the Bryant method. Overall, the findings highlight key inefficiencies in drug management and identify priority areas for improvement.
