Abstract

This study aims to analyze the prevention strategy of juvenile delinquency through character education programs based on Christian values. The approach of this research is qualitative with literature study methods and case analysis from Christian educational institutions that have implemented character education systematically. The results of the study show that Christian value-based character education has a positive impact on shaping the morals, ethics, and behavior of adolescents, and can reduce the tendency of deviant behavior. Effective character education programs involve spiritual formation, teaching biblical values, example from educators and parents, and active involvement of the church community in guiding youth. The conclusion of this study confirms that character education based on Christian theology is an important strategy in preventing juvenile delinquency.
